Get yourself the new Love edition, the perfect little gift for everyday cuddles and oral health for both of you.

What was your path to becoming a designer?

I’ve always loved drawing. After my graphic training, I learned about the Illustration Fiction course in Lucerne, Switzerland, where I enrolled. It was the perfect course for me, because it helped me include illustrations in my design practice.

What do you enjoy most in terms of your work?

I mostly work for Swiss magazines and companies. I look forward to every new project really, including designing packaging, but I especially enjoy designing posters for cultural events. I also really love working for ethical brands that I resonate with.

What inspires you?

Art exhibitions, films, other illustrators or just simple everyday situations. I also somehow always come up with good ideas when hiking.

How did the collaboration with Curaprox start?

I already knew Curaprox before and perceived it as a fresh and modern brand. So when the Curaprox design department approached me with the request to design the Love edition, I was really pleased.

What’s the idea behind your special edition of toothbrushes?

My design captures that sweet moment of happiness when two people snuggle up together. Every hug is a little celebration of love, just like watching a sunset or waiting for the first rays of sunshine after an adventurous night. That’s what I tried to capture in the illustration, using warmer colours to illustrate the couple’s mood.

What was the biggest challenge of this design?

The trickiest part was figuring out how to avoid getting too mushy or cheesy while still capturing a universally relatable moment in a visually appealing manner.

How would you like people to think of your toothbrushes?

I think it would be nice if my design catches people’s eye and stirs up some feelings.
